  • Shavez Aamir

Sir I am interestd in civil engineering in Islamabad, as only NUST H-12 is offering this program which I am not sure whether I’ll get admit there or not. Actually I want to set my own bussiness after getting this degree! I dont want to study in Hostels either. So, I’hv applied for EE. Whats your suggestion. Is there any bussiness for me after becoming Electrical engineer? Is there any Alternative for Civil.Engineering??

    • jehanzeb_ahmad

      Dear Shavez
As I already mentioned in my post on best degrees to start your own business, civil is a good field for that. Another one is architecture. With electrical Engineering its very difficult to start your own business. Trust me otherwise I would be the first one to do it.
Secondly your priority at this point should be to get the right education and not consider hostel problems. These are temporary and you can adjust. A degree will remain with you for the rest of your life. So decide based on long term and not short term problems

  • Rimsha Anum

Sir this is Rimsha Anum. And I have completed my diploma in Petro-Chemical. I have a question that “Is there are some seats for diploma holder in your University?

    • jehanzeb_ahmad

I do not run or own any university. However to answer your question in general all engineering universities have special seats for diploma holders. Therefore you can apply against those seats. In private universities it makes no difference. Your degree will be treated as equivalent to FSc and you ll be granted admission based on that.
